I was reading about using ProMarkers and one thing I saw suggested was using the really thin bleed-proof paper to trace images. Since I tend to not to do brilliantly with scanning or photographing pencil sketches, I thought I’d give sketching them a go. I did have to darken up the main pencil lines for them to be visible. But I think it worked out quite well.
Here’s the ProMarker. I only have a few colours, but I think they came out OK. I put the dark colours down first, then filled in with the light.
And here I’ve added some sparkle detail with some gold and silver gel pens and some black ink. I love the extra detail – think it makes them stand out.
Oh, and I’m really rather fond of the coy knock-kneed dragon at the bottom.
